Announcing the release of the Mount Vitruvian Clock. My concept piece with inspiration from Leonardo's Vitruvian Man. His take on the Architect Vitruvius's universal proportions.
The clock itself is 500mm in diameter, with a total width, including the spindle of 5cm's. The figures are mounted separately on acrylic disks. She is the hour hand, he's the minute hand. The finished working prototype will be ready by early June 2013.

Augustus_Art_Vitruvian_Man_reinvention

Here is my concept for the new re-invented Vitruvian Man. Drawn to illustrate the proportional values of the Architect Vitruvius, this enduring image defines this period in art history. I've seen it so many times, especially when i was doing my early anatomy training. We as humans are in the creative reinvention business. I wanted to animate and breathe life into this old soldier. There will be a couple of versions of the picture, both available from my online store in both Giclee canvas prints and A2 and A3 poster prints. There will also be a clock available from early March 2013 also available to buy from my store.
